the Domaine d’Arès is both a reception venue and a unique holiday retreat.
Located in the heart of the Pres Salés Nature Reserve, it enjoys a preserved environment of beaches, meadows and forests.
Within easy reach of the Bay’s most iconic landmarks - Arcachon, Cap Ferret, the Île aux Oiseaux, the Dune of Pilat, the Teich Bird Reserve -
the estate offers guests an exceptional setting, perfect for both relaxation and work.
Just 500 meters from the beach, accessible via a charming hidden path, it is the ideal starting point for a wide range of cultural, tourist, sporting
and leisure activities to enjoy around the Bay and beyond.

Tucked away in the heart of the Prés Salés - a highly protected nature reserve renowned for its rich biodiversity -
Domaine d’Arès is a 30-hectare eco-conscious estate.
With vast wooded grounds, a renowned stud farm (home to the prestigious Maxime David stables), two charming guesthouses, and more recently,
a spacious 195 m² reception hall, the Domaine welcomes you for an authentic and nature-filled escape.
Charming Accommodations
The Domaine d’Arès offers two large, independent character houses of 200 and 250 m² -
perfect for family or group holidays, or for residential seminars with colleagues.
Each house features four spacious bedrooms (including six en-suite master suites), generous living areas, and fully equipped kitchens.
Thoughtfully designed and tastefully decorated by the owners - art and interior design enthusiasts - these homes offer a refined yet relaxed atmosphere.
Expansive terraces and a beautiful swimming pool complete the experience.
Two independent annexes further expand the accommodation offer, bringing the total to 9 bedrooms :
- 9 guests in single occupancy
- 15 guests in twin occupancy
- Up to 20 guests in double (shared) occupancy
A Versatile and Fully-Equipped Venue
For your comfort, the Domaine d’Arès offers a heated swimming pool, pétanque court, stables, table tennis,
various sports equipment, and wide open green spaces that can easily be transformed into play or leisure areas.
The entire estate is fully enclosed and includes a large private car park.
It is also equipped with Wi-Fi, a large screen, a video projector, and reception furniture for events of up to 30 guests (for larger groups, additional furniture rental is required).
A Distinctive Setting for Your Events
For more intimate gatherings (up to 20 guests), we offer exclusive use of the two houses: the meadow-side for meetings,
and the pool-side for shared meals. Both are highly modular and provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere - just like home.
For larger events (from 20 to 150 guests), Domaine d’Arès offers the unique setting of The Barn and its Club House.
Since April 2023, the estate has transformed its former stables into a stunning 195 m² reception hall, designed to host all types of private and professional events :
weddings, ceremonies, family reunions, corporate evenings, conferences, trade shows, conventions...
The venue’s layout allows you to bring your guests together in both indoor and outdoor spaces.
